Jill Morrison is a designer and fabricator of striking one-of-a-kind pieces of sterling silver wearable art. In her Southern California studio, Jill Morrison creates unique and eye-catching pieces of sterling and fine silver wearable art. Using classical fabrication techniques, casting and new forging techniques to shape the silver, she combines it with individually selected precious and semi-precious stones, complementary metals, and fossilized ivory, bone and antler carvings and pearls to complete her statements. Her one-of-a-kind pieces can be found in galleries throughout California. She has developed a following who now collect her new designs. An example of her work is the pin "Curly II" at the lower left below. Curly II is fabricated from sterling silver, polished jasper, a hand carved bone face and copper hair. The 'flower' necklace in the center includes a forged fine silver blossom and leaves with a central amethyst cabochon suspended on twisted multiple strands of pearls and amethyst beads. The unique neckwire on the right features cast silver leaves with exquisite detail and carved amethyst blossoms with pearl centers arranged on a sterling neckwire. Try the neckwires. They are convenient and comfortable. Visit Jill's gallery of current offerings (The New) and her gallery of pieces already sold (The Old). Meet her at the Jill Morrison page. These images are 'thumbnails' - that is, if you click on them, a sharper, full-page image will come up on your screen.
Remember, each piece is one-of-a-kind. Once it's gone, it's gone for good.
